That's a really nice Rolex collection! Considering it, I would go for the BLRO because you need some red in that box. But regardless of what you owned, I'd still go for the BLRO between the two.

Nice collection. Aside from adding a DD, which would really round off your selection, I would vote adding the BLRO for a splash of red. You have the blues covered.

Smurf no question. The BLRO is a GMT with red/blue bezel
The Smurf’s entire blue bezel and dial are spectacular. The flat blue surrounded by the warmth of the 18kt white gold. Spectacular IMG_2245.JPG Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hello everyone! Thanks to all of you for your opinions and comments on this thread. What I love about this forum is the different points of view which honestly has kept me from making unwise purchases. That being said, I decided to go with this for my precious metal Rolex. Pretty stocked up on sports models. The one model I did not have is a day date As well as a sporty/dressy black dial. Incoming!

For a watch with such a weight ( almost 235gr with full links ), i went with the Glidelock system: so you do not feel like you have a dead weight around your arm

Very impressive collection
Between GMTs and Subs I feel subs wear more comfortable and comfortable! Between the two in question I would go for the smurf But have you considered platinum DD or platona? Platinum is just a totally different ball game! |

Congrats! But there wasn’t going to be a bad choice as all PMs are great.

Precious metal rolex
A family friend of mine has a WG sub, it's beautiful and I thought nothing could top that; then I was able to admire a YG sub and man... YG is something else.
Have you considered a 116618LB??? Nevermind. Just say you picked up a day date. Congrats!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If spending my own money, I would go YG. Based on your options, I vote Smurf.

Blro == Tasteful
Smurf == Liberace Depends on where you live too. Just my opinion. |

It just happens that in my opinion the BLRO is FAR nicer than the Blue Submariner.

he asked for opinions (Input and opinions would be appreciated : Cheers!
") and I gave mine - that's my point here sir. Not sure it needs clarification. why so defensive? Did I really say something? I did not intend to hurt feelings..I like the BLRO and even recently expressed desire (on this site) to possibly purchase one (decided not to). Having owned a SS GMT II C - I just find it too similar. Cheers :-)
