Hello, TRF members:

I am in talks regarding a prospective purchase from Huston Time Exchange Inc. (specifically with an individual named Guy H. Bonner, Jr.). However, I am unable to find any references online (via forums or any other source for this establishment). Guy told me that they have only dealt in face-to-face transactions in the past. He send me his business card and a copy of his drivers license. However, I am a bit skeptical of going ahead espcially since I am unable to find any online presence. They do have a Facebook page though (https://www.facebook.com/Houston-Tim...0911094374185/).

If anyone has had any past experience dealing with them, could you please reach out and let me know.

I'm in Houston and, though this isn't definitive proof of anything as this is a big city, I've never heard of him. How did you find him? Is he offering a good deal on a watch? Better than the Trusted Sellers here? Buy the seller. You're in Chicago, he's in Houston, he's only done face to face transactions... why is he willing to change that now?

Ask him for references.

I've asked for references, etc. but he say he does not have any. I am 99% sure that this situation is not legit, just thought I would ask on here if anyone in the Houston area has dealt with them/him in the past......thought I'd give him a little benefit of the doubt.

I am in the car/racing scene and know a few guys in Houston that are friends with him, however I have never seen him on any Facebook watch pages selling so I am also not sure

I know Guy personally and have bought several watches from him. He is legit as they come. Someone got his info and was trying to sell watches as him if I remember correctly.

IV been in Houston my whole life, trolling local watch forums and Craigslist and brick n mortar.. IV NEVER heard of this guy. Could be real deal but I KNO most of the ROLEX flippers here in h town

Thanks for all the responses! I backed out of the deal a long time ago, but good to know Guy Bonner is a legit individual. Something did not seem right about the situation I was dealing with at the time. Possibly it was the impostor that was posing as Guy like KennyB0627 said.....

Thanks Kenny and Alfred! Yes someone did get ahold of my business cards and Id when they broke into my truck months ago. I have been made aware of their posting all over the country on Craigslist selling counterfeit watches using my name as their sales pitch. NO IT IS NOT ME!!!! Beware....!!! I have a lots and lots and lots of references on myself that are here on the forum as well that can give me a call and verify for you if it’s actually me selling an Item.

Glad to hear you did not fall victim to this thief using my info. ��
