Yes it is na upgrade for sure! Had the pleasure of owning both the 5167 and 5164 in steel and this one really Is king. I Find the pushers give the watch some symmetry and the complication is so easy to use

The rg really pops and is blingy without being to blingy (know what I mean).
The collection has changed so much but Oh well.
So beautiful. Congrats!

Which do you think is better? 5164a or 5164r. I am facing the choice between these two.

It largely depends what pieces you have in your collection.
If youre looking for something different in terms of a distinct functional rg sports watch this is the piece for you.
Most may say this is not a Versatille piece but I disagree. Was worried initially the rg would not suit my age (I am 35 years old ) but it has worked perfectly. I have worn it with shorts and jeans and have had no qualms. Best to try it on first

What do you mean suit your age? Do you think the rg version too young or too old? I am 23, so I am worried whether it suits me or not.

I'm sure he meant too young, but age is in the eye of the beholder, esp with the amount of fillers and surgery that is so au current right now. Only matters if you feel comfortable with it on. If it helps the latest spiderman, Tom Holland, was wearing the 67R on Graham Norton show and he looks 15!
