16613 prices?

Shopping for used 16613 and I have seen prices increase on several sites recently. Should I wait for prices to come down?

I don’t think I have ever seen the price of a 16613 come down !
Unfortunately this model was most people’s grail watch.
Just make sure it has a good bracelet’ you won’t go wrong.

As the other poster said, buy it now.

Just to add: as long as family obligations and lifestyle are in good shape, absolutely buy the watch and enjoy it sooner than later. Prices are very unlikely to go down so don't punish yourself, you deserve it!

Best,
Mark

I have seen prices definitely creep up from where they were at around this time last year. The average was probably $7-7.5k. This is no longer the case with prices going past $8k especially for the post-2000 ones with gold going all the way around.

Might prices drop if Rolex rolls out a new Sub next year, possibly in two tone before doing steel the following year?

16613 prices?

It is a beautiful watch!
IMG_1107.JPG

But I chose to swap it for the 6 digit... better bracelet, solid clasp, solid gold links (less prone to stretch), and I prefer the maxi dial...

And your are correct about the prices, they keep going up!

Sage advice. If you're waiting for prices to come down, you'll be waiting a long time.

Prices on all used 5 sand 6 digit models have been rising over the last few months. Thought it might adjust after Basel but haven’t seen any sign if it. Also noticed good condition 5 digit models with b&p are becoming rarer so if you can find one I wouldn’t hesitate too long.

Good examples I think would be found near the 8k - 9k territory. I would buy now, 5 digits have reached their “bottom”, they will be moving no where but up.

Unfortunately I don’t see prices going down.
Find a good example, bite the bullet and buy it !
I’d suggest for a little more in getting the newer
6 digit reference. Prices are creeping too high for a
5 digit reference.... For just a couple of $$$ K more
the upgraded maxi case and upgraded bracelet are
a much better buy....

I would find a good example now and get your best price and buy. I doubt prices will change much and you can start wearing it and enjoying it.
