Thoughts On Long Island Watch Custom Seiko Option?

Hey Everyone!! I saw on Long Island Watch that they now have the option to customize the Seiko SKX and a few other models. I think that’s really cool and kinda thinking about giving it a try. I have two SKX’s that I wear a lot but I like the idea of changing it up and having an SKX that you won’t see on other peoples wrist. What’s your thoughts on this?

Marc at LI is a great dude. And he offers a great option. So go for it.

I'd have no hesitation in going down this route.

Like LI watch

I’ve ordered watches from them. Watches arrive fast and in pristine condition.

My only complaint with the custom watches is that the money for it accumulates fast as you add options and pretty soon you are paying $600 for a $200 watch.

I too am thinking of adding a ceramic bezel insert for my 2nd SKX. I am inclined to contact Marc from Longislandwatch if I should go that route.

I think it would be fun to do a customization and the LI Watch company does a good job with it. Check them out on YouTube.

Honestly I would only mod the crystal to saphire and keep everything original. I use to have a modded skx007j but at the end I sold it. I like to keep it as original as possible. I prefer to buy my own parts and have a reputable seiko watch maker install it. Reason being is that most chapter rings does not align so I ask my watch maker to align it as close as possible when he installs the saphire crystal. Also you can ask your watch maker to regulate movement if needed as well.
