5070g price trend

5070g has since release been the goal PP for me, however at the time of release i was not in a position to acquire one, i have spent the last few years enjoying vintage rolex and purposefully (for my own sanity) stopped tracking prices of the 5070.

I may now be in the position to pursue one. I was wondering if the current prices have been stable for a while or still climbing?

please feel free to add photos you your 5070 ( especially if you have size comparison the wrist with other watches... ) !!

I think prices are pretty stable

I may be wrong. Prices now 65-75 usd depending on condition? Would like to hear other's opinions.

Here are some pictures for you. My wrist size is 6.25 inches. The 5070g wears big if that's ok with you.

Lovely! Looks good on your wrist, My wrist is 7 1/4 so think I'm fine, it really has a presence !

Any chance you could do a side to side shot with the sub-
?

Beautiful collection of watches

Not normally a yellow gold person but the 5070J is an exception. That beautiful dial !

Ever since sam posted pictures of his here I've been drooling over it.

I am looking around for a gently used 5070G as well. I'm in the NY tri-state area and asking price from decent dealers is $65-73k and I'm sure there's "wiggle room" as always so I would guess $60-70k is true market.

You like 5170 black better or the 5070g? Saw your avatar with the 5170

I love the reference, been in my mind for a long time. I think 60k is a good price , 65k is fair and 70k is expensive. But I have to be honest and I don't like the fact that 5070's are not moving that's making me weary more than the actual price.

Not to hijack the thread, but what about the 5070p? Am I right to think 135 is around market?

beautiful watch. But, Way too rich for my blood though in any metal, Breguet and Vacheron use the same movement and those can be had for a fraction of the cost, Sure they ain't a Patek but they're also trading at less than half the price… in some cases a quarter of the price, something to think about...

Maybe they are not moving on that stupid chrono24 site
Most dealers don't have what they show and others are to lazy to remove it from the site if they sold it

A few European dealers I know do sell these very easy ( for example watches.de)
The J is the most difficult to sell but if he has the 3 others is ofter sold after some weeks.
Also the 12 !! P he sold in the past

Concerning the price I can tell they don't become cheaper. The only thing that has some influence is the currency that goe sup or down
