Good to know and probably sounds about right, even those that are unsuccessful will probably have first dibs on future releases which I am sure will come. Good luck all!

In one of the YouTube videos, it was mentioned that the original MAD 1 will still be available to future MB&F owners. It will be great if it is true.

Yes, I did not believe it when I heard it too. I have the steel LM101 arriving any time now and it would be a pleasant surprise if it is true.

My AD just texted and let me know that my watch is delayed by 2-3 months….

But he did confirmed that the MAD 1 will be available to Tribe member. So that’s something extra to look forward to

Big congrats, Steven and everyone else who ordered already and best of luck to those in the lottery! You’re going to love it!

Ps. To those that commented that they are nicer than the LMs… not quite, but the M.A.D. is such a unique and generous concept.

My confirmed allocation was in January. That was when I put down the deposit. But I inquired back in May when it was first announced too.

The M.A.D.1 RED is priced at CHF 2900 excluding tax. Interested in purchasing one? Pieces will be allocated thanks to a raffle open to everyone from March 22nd to April 5th. On April 11th, we will proceed with a random draw, and let you know whether the draw has been favourable to you – in which case we’ll invite you to place your order. Deliveries are planned between September and December 2022.

My TOTAL guess... MB&F is probably sleeping right now after the past crazy busy week during the timepiece and jewelry shows in Switzerland. So yes, the new update as of today says:

"On April 11th, we will proceed with a random draw, and let you know whether the draw has been favourable to you – in which case we’ll invite you to place your order. Deliveries are planned between September and December 2022."

If you miss the Red, have a feeling there will be more from M.A.D. in the future. This is an awesome time to be a lover of horology!

PS: Entry for the raffle is now closed. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Any guess of the odds? 1 in 1000?

So glad to find out that MAD 1 is still available for the tribe. But still want a red one to match with the blue one.

A little bit sad I missed out on this one. You snooze you lose. I even e-mailed this morning but they kindly replied I was too late. Fair enough.

Chances of picking this piece up at retail or little over are zero to none I'm afraid.

Better luck next time.

I will have a guess! It depends on the number of units made which nobody knows. Let’s say there are 10,000 made (it may be much lower than this). Let’s assume 2,000 are sold already to members or those that had previously expressed interest.

So assuming there are 8,000 up for grabs and I believe there had already been over 20,000 raffle entries circa 2 weeks ago so maybe by now triple around 60,000 entries. So the odds may not be as bad as you think, perhaps a 13% chance.

You can also assume I am way off!

Sorry to hear, I am convinced there is plenty of scope to get hold of one in the future hopefully at retail given future plans.

I believe a few days ago there were 20k entries, not sure the qty available. Max has always been fair and straightforward. Have a Red coming, and if blue is available for Tribe members next year when the LM101 Willy Wonka arrives will once again beg, plead, and grovel a bit for one.

I understand. Am trying to be cool and calm when I say PLEASE don't email them about this. Am fairly sure they're buried in work. Frankly, am not sure how he does all he does given the hours in the day.

Sorry you missed out, posted the announcement a while back so please keep checking this section on TRF. Imho the really fun timepiece stuff is on this section
