Daytona 116519 non-ceramic with LN-steel dial ....experiment

My 116519 already had a few funky make-overs , so it was time again to re-configure it to some kind of "descent and legal" dial/strap combo with the help of my new creative and also very friendly watchmaker.

According to Rolex, this dial works with a whitegold bezel and a full WG bracelet. They also think (and i agree!) this dial looks good with a ceramic bezel and black rubber strap.

Then it shouldn't look too weird with a whitegold bezel and black leather OEM croco-strap right ??

Yep, I'm satisfied !! You guys like it like this ?

Love that dial! Was wondering... anyone fitted a ceramic bezel to a 116509 with steel dial?

plan_les_watch on Instagram fitted a steel panda dial onto a 116500. Looks great but the purist in me would never do it.

I like it. I think the black bezel really completes the look to go with the black sub dials, but it's nice.

Rubber B now has a waterproof black croc strap (Swim Skin) that looks amazing, which would accomplish both the look and the functionality, but not sure if made yet for Daytona OF fitup.

Thanks for sharing this Mark! Seems like they actually have it available for the 116519LN model, but not yet for the old fashioned 116519. The case end is no problem, the clasp is different so they need to make it for 116519/8 specific.
