Travel Time 5134P Platinum

I have (at long last) gotten around to photographing some of my father's watches and I believe this is the nicest one.

From my research it is a Travel Time 5134P Platinum.

He told me that he never registered it and indeed the paperwork, which seems complete to me, is unfilled.

That movement looks incredible! Looks quite different from the 5164 too. Why is that?

Awesome! A local jeweler has one of these for sale on their site, but I was never actually sure if it had the skeletonized hour hand or if the top sub dial was used for the second time zone.

Total different base movement. 5134 has a simple manual wind 215 movement.

Thank you for your replies.

I was also impressed with the movement on this beauty. Just the sheer level or craftsmanship is outstanding. Photos don't even show the pieces moving, which is just amazing.

I love this watch. Wish it was 39mm instead of 37x

Beautiful watch! Simple manual wind with 2nd time zone. I almost bought one, but I let it get away! I still sometimes regret it

How does that work? Is the sub-dial at 12 a second GMT hand (in lieu of a day-night)? Seems a bit inefficient.

Lovely watch, irrespective.

Judging by the pictures, it appears that the 12 o'clock sub-dial is linked with the skeletonized hour hand.

Great looking piece, thank you for sharing. Sorry for spying on the certificate numbers, if you already didn't know they sugests it manufactured in 2004. Also corresponds to the stick dial.

This is a very deceptive watch. Initially it appears busy. It isn’t. Once you really look at this piece, it’s very clean. I believe this is one of the nicest pieces from patek.
