Potentially the one that has been polished the least - if there is a material difference among the three watches.

no flames here, but i dont think new members with what i am assuming is a limited knowledge of the watch market should be encouraged to speculate.

Its a watch. Buy the one you want to wear. Basing your decision on any other factor is risky and very likely to not work out the way you want.

for OP, just buy whichever watch you feel you will wear and enjoy the most.. they will all retain value in the future, its not like they're making any more of either of those and there will always be a demand... I owned a 16710 M serial with the 3186 and stick dial,, pepsi insert.. amazing example of that watch.. great condition, never polished, full set.. sold it less than a year ago for $14k ish... today im seeing people asking $25k for the same watch... Do i regret selling it before? maybe but no because then it wouldn't have brought me some other pieces that I enjoy now.. but as you can see, value can spike at any moment and you'll be fine with any of those

I don't know, but there are some movement differences between the 16710 and 16700, no? I am really not knowledgeable enough to pin point what the differences are. But if there is a difference in how to set the date, I'd go with the easier option, especially if you're looking to make this a daily user.

Aside from that prices are all pretty much similar, so I'd go for the one in the best condition, and unpolished if possible.

I'd choose the second 16700 or the 16710 because I love the yellow patina of the indexes with tritium when the watch gets old...

16700 has the 24-hour hand tied to the hour hand. As in, if it's 10:00 then the 24-hour hand can only be on 10-hundred or 22-hundred hours. A second time zone (local or remote) can be tracking using the bezel.

On the 16710 you can wheel around the hour hand independently to track a different local time. The 24-hour hand typically tracks a reference time (home time, Zulu, etc.) and local time is easily set as you pass through time zones. A second or third time can be tracked with the bezel.

I like the 16700 but admit that the 16710 is more useful for anyone passing through local time zones often. For anyone who just wants to add 24-hour time to their watch and move the bezel for travel or reference then the 16700 is great.

Both the 16700 and 16710 are great watches and you could not go wrong with either!

Re No(1), you might want to check that year again...some sources suggest that the 16700 finished around 1999/2000?

Is option 1 a 16700 or 16710? I am asking because 2002 seems late for a 16700 production date. The next question is if you prefer the 3rd timezone option the 16710 gives you or the convenience of the quickset date of the 16700. If none of the above matters, I would pick the one in the best condition

#1 is surely a typo, especially given the year and price asked.

Interesting choices. First off, there were no GMT 16700s produced during 2002. It was discontinued a few years earlier.

Based on the choices given, I would purchase the one that is in the best condition without any issues.
