After my disastrous day on Saturday where I was let down in the most disgraceful way...

I'm dealing with a great guy off this forum now, Armin. The deal is all agreed and we are now in the hands of my bank and Armins bank....I am happy and confident this will be concluded very soon.

On my previous one, I had the 4 red chrono hands, but I'm staying with the more classy white gold (silver) hands on this one.

Red looks great too though.

With the current crazy prices of SS Daytona’s really surprised there aren’t more buying the white gold 116509 with the price difference being closer?

I couldn't agree more. Watchfinder sell a SS for 16 grand, and they have the rose gold with ceramic and chocolate face (albeit on strap) for 17,500.

Makes the pm seem pretty good value in my eyes.

It is, and having owned SS 116520, SS 116500LN & WG 116509, there is no comparison, the PM weight, heft, and hue are amazing. And of course slightly larger than SS.

Gorgeous....is this the dial considered "anthracite" or is that a different racing dial....sometimes I see this same watch with a dark gray dial but I think these are 2 different models...and you have the black?

Is there another dial variation similar to this but in black or dark anthracite?

Both are gorgeous but I cant tell if there are 2 different dials or the same dial in different light?

The one in the picture is the grey slate dial. There is a Racing Black one too, but looks quite different. See attached picture of my old one. (Why did I sell it?!?)
