Seriously leaning towards one of these in white instead of the platona. I mean of course the platona is platinum and the colours are great but I like the look of the white with ceramic Besel just as much. (Be a lot cheaper too!)

Honestly I think it depends on your collection. In my 3-piece ensemble I feel like 2 SS daytonas from the same year would be a little redundant.

PS: Props on the username, btw. I have a Springfield TRP that I enjoy very much...

Has anybody found one of these in the case waiting to be bought or is everything handed out according to these "lists". I only ask because I am going to a mall with an AD and didn't know if I would get the chance to see one.

I would bet all are pre sold and based on lists. Clearly those with strong relationships and so,I'd buying history at the top.

Getting jazzed for mine to come in. I am #4 on the list at my AD. I am sure they'll get a batch of black and white, so by the time my number gets called, I will probably have to decide to take black or wait a while longer for white. It will be a tough call, but I am leaning white right now.

My should arrive today at the dealer, buying it from the grey market since the ADs around here do not have a list and told me, it could be years.
Found this one and tried it on, that is my whish for Baselworld 2017

Does anyone have a link to a video on adjusting the bracelet? All I can find is how to remove and add links. Is that all that can be done? I just need it to be a little larger.

This thread is full of enablers! I asked at the local AD yesterday, who I've used before for jewelry but not watches, about the possibility of becoming a white Daytona owner. They said they were all going to the VIPs, but I was welcome to go on the list. I asked how long it would take to go through the list and she said she didn't know, but it would be "quite a while".
Maybe I'll put myself on? I'm thinking of getting something gold as well. Decisions, decisions. I guess it can't hurt to get on a list.
