If the budget permits--snap it up.

It's a great looking watch and so desire that if your heart bows out--easy resell.

for me, it's a TT watch, usually they're discounted at AD's, so unless there's a discount on the price of the watch, it's not a watch i'd have to have the watch right away

Maybe I need to find a new AD as mine doesn’t discount any Rolex, especially a new 2018 model. I know TT’s don’t get a lot of love, but it seems like the consensus on this one is all positive. The pics are stunning.

That's common in large cities. They don't discount because someone will pay it if you don't. If you look for a new AD, hunt for one in a smaller city if possible. That doesn't guarantee they'll discount a 2018 release, however. Some ADs wait 6-12 months for popularity to wear down a bit.

Good luck!

This is a beautiful watch and has recently become my new favorite! However, it's out of my price range on what I have budgeted at this time. Maybe one day in the future I'll own one. I'm definitely sold on the looks of it! I do prefer the full Everose gold 126715CHNR over the TT, but that is WAY out of my budget.

I would say like others have recommended......take a look at it in the metal, try it on and see how you like it. If it doesn't stir your emotions, I would pass and go to the next model on your list.

I wouldn’t if you don’t want it. I’ve been there and done that buying something that was miraculously there. It usually ends up a flip as you never wanted it in the first place.

I wouldn’t spend 10 grand because someone else thought it was a good idea, so best to go with your gut on this.

Photos don't do justice on this model. I wanted the pepsi however received a call about the CHNR. Went in and tried it on...wasnt too sure about it at first but found the rose gold to blend in quite nicely.

Needless to say, the pepsi is now off my list....bought the CHNR on the spot.

Tried it with my AD..even a 3-4% reduction if paying with a bank draft and no go. They know with it being a new release that it'll see at full MRSP (till the hype dies down)

If you love it buy it. Considering you could easily sell it after that fact it's a fairly safe purchase.

I had an opportunity to buy this watch, but didn’t. To me, there is just too much going on.

Quick update. Still haven't gone to see it in person. Father's Day weekend derailed me. Gonna try tomorrow if time allows. Thanks for all the feedback!

I just thought of this while reading this thread. It seems like the CHNR is hitting our shores fairly regularly, alternatively the Pepsi is hitting Europe fairly regularly... Do you think that Rolex feels that we prefer TT watches?

Photos in this thread are awfully convincing.

I thought it was stunning when I saw it at my local AD's Basel piece event earlier this year. I am trying my hardest to stay behind the excuse "rose gold doesn't look on my darker skin" but this watch is really tempting...

Depends on what you want on waiting for it, im sure you should get something you derive satisfaction from not because its on high demand , if so im sure you would have a different feeling after a while.
