Bezel Damage

So I picked up my 15400 last Sunday from my AD. And I noticed that in one week there are three small ding marks on the edge of the bezel in random spots. I know that I haven't smashed the watch into anything, So is this pretty much the normative for an AP bezel? Sure the average person probably wouldn't notice the small dings, but I sure do. I realize metal bezel will get damaged down the line, but didn't expect it so soon. My bracelet is still mint though.

The royal oak bezel is a scratch magnet. I would enjoy it and come service time AP Clearwater will take care of it.

This. I have a Royal Oak and a Nautilus and they do ding very easily; polished steel and sharp edges lead to a dangerous combo...

There are some people who wear for years without a single scratch but those are the exception not the norm I reckon.

I wear my 15202 daily and it gets worn hard. It has dings and nicks all over the bezel and the polished edges.

The first few hits hurt the most. But once you start to accumlate the wear (evenly), You don't think about it. It's very calming when you can just simply enjoy your watch.

I don't plan to ever refinish the watch at service.

Perfectly normal.

I obsessed about the first one for days (happened the first week I had mine) until I realized there were 2 more that mysteriously appeared.

There are more small dings and scratches than I can count now and I don't really care. I just love the watch.

A watch with perfect edges and catches light as well an AP will absolutely seek out little dings and hairlines. No way around it.

It'll get taken care of at service time.

After a month or so you won't even notice. I promise I went through the same thing.

Mate I wouldn't worry about it, I thought I was going to see something awful when I saw the title, but no it's fine and hardly visible except for you
