Calling All NY Mets Fans #LGM !

Wanted to take a little time to Thank Mike Piazza and the great years he had playing for my team the NY Mets and his enshrinement into the Baseball Hall Of Fame. What a great career ! Not to mention the absolute gem of a speech he made at his induction. Also loved the fact he had the new style Navy ROO on such a important day in his life. Thanks Mike, we as Mets fans will always be indebted. 👏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽🍻

PS : Over the weekend, the Wilpons presented Piazza with a 2015 Mets NL Championship ring and a Audemars Piquet Royal Oak Offshore watch with Piazza’s number 31 engraved in the workings. The back of the watch reads: Hall of Fame 2016 Mike Piazza New York Mets.

“I was blown away by the ring and the watch,’’ Piazza said, away from the crowd.

As a Yankee fan, I always admired his play and hitting. He was a great competitor and he helped make those years in NY very exciting. Thanks Mike.

Loved the 2000 subway series. Wish it had ended differently. Lol.

Huge Mets fan here(& excited to see the subway series next week). Happy for Piazza, he was one of my two favorite players growing up & deserves to be in the HOF.

Very cool. He's a watch guy, too. I met him at a movie premiere party once and we were both wearing Breitlings. We sat at the bar and talked watches for a few minutes. Great guy.

Great story. You absolutely correct. He wears his breitling all the time.
