Better Duo

I'm polling the group and asking you all to make a decision within a vacuum...meaning not to take into consideration any other potential watches in a collection. Simply, if you had to narrow it down to two, which would be a better and more versatile duo?

Option 1: AP 15400 (black dial) and SubC 114060
Option 2: AP 15400 (black dial) and AP Diver 15710ST (black dial)
Option 3: AP Diver 15710ST (black dial) and SubC 114060

I say number 2. I like the 15400 but it and the Rolex are both bracelets. I like the second option even though both cases are similar in appearance but one has a strap, runner gator etc. option three has two different watches in brand but they are both five watches with the same three hand with date type of complication. Maybe a chrono Ora different shaped watch. I assume you own at least the 15400 and maybe a sub?

I like the first choice best.... SubC is my favorite Rolex design in all its iterations.
15400 would dress up better than AP Diver.
Plus you have a Rolex and an AP.
Like all three though

If you're looking for versatility, I'd say choice 2. 3 gives you some options, but the 15400 is visually on another level.

I like both the choices in 1, but can't personally see why I'd choose the sub over the 15400 unless you actually dive.

Yes, had the 15400 been blue would have voted for it, but not for the black one.

About versatility 2 divers ain't the best choice, but instead of 15400 I would take 15300 or 15202

Option 1. But for versatility make the 15400 a white dial.

Voted #2 but...

My guess is with those 3 watches, with the AP Diver in the mix, the Diver will dominate wrist time

The rolex is very versatile and a must have in my opinion. The 15400/15300 will be ideal with a sub. The 15400 is dressy and can work as a dressy/ smart casual watch and the rolex as a daily wear

Option 2 gets my vote. It would be hard to beat that duo!
