Could AP have not made the RO bracelet more comfortable? & Incoming
I have just received my new blue dial 15400. The finish of the watch has left me speechles. I have seen so many pictures of the watch but after taking off the plastics the finishing is just so perfect. It puts my daytona to shame.
I really didnt care about scratching my daytona even after I first bought it. But this, man Im going to get hurt when I see the first scratch on the case. I love how the blue dial looks under the sun as well as in doors. Such a difference. Such a wide range of colors the dial takes. Now the bracelet, although not as comfortable imo as the daytona it is a confortable bracelet. My only issue is the sharpness of the bracelet along its length. The outer of the bracelet is chamfered but the inside that is in contact with the skin is not. I like wearing my watches a bit loose and I feel my skin gets scratched as the watch moves on my wrist. Which gets uncomfortable with time. I cant imagine wearing the gold heavier bracelet. Would it not be better if the inside of the bracelet was also chamfered? What do you think? Are you happy with your RO bracelet? |

Funny for me exact opposite. There is no bracelet even close to as comfortable as my 15202OR. My Daytona's not even close. So I guess to each his own but the RO bracelet my favorite and most comfortable in my entire collection.

Ken I also tried the jumbo. Both gold and steel. They are fantastic watches and they did seem to be more confortable than the 15400. They do have a thinner and smaller bracelet which is i think part of the reason why.

15202 has an amazing bracelet. 15400 is very very comfortable too, but IMO needs a 6.5" or bigger wrist so the watch rests against your wrist properly. Too small wrists + 15400 = not good.

The inside edge is chamfered, albeit not just as much as the outer edge.
Can you pinpoint a link or two that doesn’t feel sharp when you run your finger along it? It may be a case of it or those not having been profiled correctly, which is causing the sensation you’re feeling. |

100% agreed. I have worn dozens of bracelet watches. Nothing compares to the AP.

A watch needs to be worn tight and should not move, less chance of scratching it, should also be worn higher than the wrist, give it a try

Cant stop staring at the bracelet. I can't believe how the light bounces off the bracelet. A true work of art. Blown away by the genius of the design.

Fantastic bracelet. I have the thicker one made for the 15400 and the ROC. Here is quick video.

Congrats on your new purchase, it's a great piece.
I don't have an RO but definitely love my ROO bracelet. Give it some time, I think you'll get used to it. |

I found the 15400 bracelet pretty uncomfortable too, but the 15300 fit much better.
