Breitling Re-editions

If the words of the new CEO are to come true, we are likely to see a few nice re-editions of some vintage watches from Breitling in the next few years. As a collector of re-editions (the more accurate the better), I'm certainly looking forward to that. Anyway, some have said that the one on the right in the first picture is the nicest re-edition of the original all-black dial Navitimer 806, and I would certainly agree. However, in my opinion, the one on the left is the closest we have of a modern interpretation of the original Chronomat, even though it is labelled as a Montbrillant. That said, I can’t help but wonder how much nicer they would have looked if the bezels had been swapped.

Anyway, what are you hoping for from the new and improved Breitling?

I'd love to see Breitling release some thinner watches! I like quite a few of their watches however the thick cases just aren't singing to me the same as they used to. Really liked their Mono Pusher Transocean 1915 and Transocean Chono limited but they were just a tad too thick for my liking. Pretty excited to see this year's releases though. I am hoping for a lot from them!

I have no objections. Looks like you're out to get me.
It's an idea, at that.
