It never occurred to me to wear a watch to bed.

It’s just habit for myself. I just don’t take my watch off for anything.

Why do people act like these don't exist?

You dont need your watch on...You dont need to "activate your iphone"....

Less than $10....

Only to avoid theft. That was in my college years before I developed a trust with my roommate at the beginning of a semester. It was a Daytona 6239.

Doesn't make a difference how I sleep. I just got used to sleeping with a watch on from my military days when I was in the field and don't even notice it when sleeping.

Ha! I have an old, red-numbered, alarms clock. My wife hates it and keeps asking why I don’t get a new one or use my phone.

But I’ve had it since I was in my early teens so this thing will be on my bedside table as long as possible.

Almost blind, can't see the alarm clock (even one with huge numbers) without putting my glasses on. A wrist watch with good lume I can read without breaking sleeping position except for the watch arm. Wear either my silver dial 126200 or BB36 but the BB36 is much easier to read.

I'll use a fitbit and avoid metal bracelets for sleeping, don't want that while I'm sleeping.

The question is asked as if the watch that people wear to bed is different from what they wear during waking hours. Not sure why you'd change watches to go to sleep unless it was a sleep tracker.

Whichever watch I am wearing for me. Started because I travel quite a bit and don't like taking my watch off in a hotel room in case I forget it or whatever (for the same reason I always travel with something waterproof so I don't need to take it off at all).
Sleeping with the watch on doesn't bother me whatsoever. It's not a case of making an effort to wear a watch to bed its more a case of not making the effort to take it off

Only slept with a watch on if I'm travelling and don't trust the place. I never sleep with my watch on but I've fallen asleep with a Deepsea, it was an exhausting week.

I don’t need to wear a watch to bed. I just look at the time before I go to sleep and my bladder wakes me up every 2 hours. It’s like clockwork.
If for some reason my bladder fails me, I just look at the weather station on my nightstand which tells me the time, the indoor/outdoor temp and humidity, and windspeed ….. all of which are, of course, important to know in the middle of the night.
Failing that I have my iPhone on the nightstand so I can look up the time anywhere in the world in the middle of the night.
Failing that, I have my Apple watch on its charger. A simple tap on my nightstand (which is enough to vibrate the watch) and my watch lights up with the time.
Failing that, I just look up at the ceiling and read the time in big red numerals from my projection alarm clock.
When all else fails, or if I don’t want to open my eyes, I just yell across the room ….. “Alexa, what time is it?”
I would not wear my GMT to bed. As large as it is, I would be afraid if I rolled over on it, I might crack a rib.
And now that I have bored you all with the many ways I can tell time in the middle of the night, I do occasionally take the Apple watch off its charger and wear it.

Just changed from the Sub ND on black Everest strap to the Polar on orange rubber strap... because I'm wearing an orange t-shirt.
