First post with a question
I haven’t received my GMT Master II 126710BLNR yet but I wanted to give a referral to Hamilton Jewelers if you’re in New Jersey and want quality service. They are completely transparent when it comes to watches and while you’re there they have a plethora of quality goods. I was able to buy a wallet and Montblanc from them and couldn’t be happier. Kyle Clemency was who I got to interact with and I was personally referred Diane so it seems all of their staff go above and beyond. I can’t wait to get the watch, it looks so incredible and if you know the process of how they make the bezel like that you’d know how special it truly is!
My question is this: Have any of you purchased and used a Rubber B strap? I heard about their brand and I like the look of their product. For the watch I mentioned above they have a black and blue strap or an all black one which I think looks great. It’s not as good as with the jubilee in my opinion but this watch is going to be getting worn virtually everyday and I’m considering putting it on the Rubber during normal days and when I go out to eat I put it on the Jubilee. Thoughts? Is this a bad idea? If you have any questions for me, just message me here! My name is Thomas. |

Welcome.
So you bought a wallet and Montblanc from them. Now, they promise to sell you a Batgirl with no other purchase history. It's not gonna happen. |

I would say it’s unlikely, but not impossible. Plenty of stories here on TRF of people getting hot references without prior purchase history. I bought my Batman without history, but that was 2016. Still, there are threads of this happening.

Be prepared to buy a few hundred Montblanc pens and wallets before they offer you any hard-to-get Rolex model. I hope you prove me wrong. BLNRs are not easy to get... but you never know. Good luck! |

First, welcome to TRF.
To answer your question, I think that you should wear it for a while before you buy an alternative strap for it. Not sure what the warranty is with their straps, but if it's less than 5 years I suggest to definitely not buy it before you receive the watch from your good friends at Hamilton. |

Please be nice, TRF members, He's only 21 or 22.
OP Bohemia, you might want to consider not using your last name + town in a semi-public forum. I agree with some other respondents to enjoy it on the Oyster for a bit before purchasing alternatives. And be sure to buy the right size elastomer band for your wrist if you plan to use your own Oyster clasp from your BLNR. |

Welcome to TRF!
I’ve never used a RubberB, but a lot of people here do. They seem like good straps, but I just love Rolex bracelets too much to ever switch them out. Enjoy the GMT (when it arrives)! |

Ah if they promise to you that they will offer you the blnr great! I hope they will, but anyway about the rubber b I would wait until you get the watch and try them on first. Most people says jubilee bracelet is better than the oyster but for me I preferred the oyster maybe because of the heft compared to jubilee. Best of luck and go for it..

Definitely don’t start buying accessories for a watch you don’t even have yet. Welcome to TRF OP. Hope their promise of getting you the watch you want works out for you. |

Welcome. RubberB makes a good strap and I have used them before on several Rolex watches.

21-22? If you’re getting that from my name it’s most likely my nephew. I am IV of the name and he is actually V. I’m originally from London and recently moved. I’m 39 and in a relatively lucky position to start a watch collection! Thank you for your response!

It had to do with RubberB straps! I actually have a special circumstance and so will be able to purchase this watch relatively soon and so I was wondering if I should leave it on the Jubilee or go for a strap. I personally enjoy both looks but was wondering more along the lines of if I should or shouldn’t for any reason! Purchasing the watch is not the issue here, just the straps!

I bought things I needed instead of 50k worth of crap because I have respect for myself!! Getting the watch isn’t an issue for me! But thank you for taking your time to respond to my post! Wasn’t expecting this many replies.
