Always wear my watch to sleep but the lume is dead so there is really no point other than I just don't take it off.

Me to. Never crossed my mind to wear a watch to sleep. I think for me it would be very uncomfortable but to each his own. wearing it to take a shower is even more odd to me.

X a million. My night stand is too close. I could see me banging my watch on the night stand. No thanks!

Easy - I think the first one was closed because the Mod might logically have thought I was after salacious answers...I wasn’t. Just being too cute by half in the way I worded the question. Also, I’m genuinely interested in the answer. Most of the threads like those ( with trepidation I might say “all” ) are “do you sleep with your watch on”. I’m interested in teh answers here : “If you sleep with your watch on, which watch and why?” Is it just because that’s what you’re wearing? Is it because you’re not taking it off, or, as we see here, it is other people like me who are gaining some benefit from having it on. I suspected that was the case, but that’s the reason for the post.

I hadn’t thought of that....but there’s so much less movement at night, I have to believe it isnt’ doing harm. If there’s anyone out there w/ a horological bent, maybe they can chime in.

I slept with my Seiko SKX007 for a few days, just to see what it was all about. Found it highly annoying. Have not done so since.

I can see that. I have an SKX007 and I’ve slept with it on, too, because it is a vacation watch. I find that really uncomfortable, too. I think it might be the watch itself? I don’t find it uncomfortable to wear around, but it isn’t like a Sub......

BB 41 is my choice because I don’t wanna sleep with CHNR. When i get OP 39 or an explorer 1, that will be my watch in bed...

Is it okay to wear my sub with my pyjamas?
Or do I have to sleep in a suit?

SKX for the lume. We have a 2.5 year old who wakes up in the middle of the night. We caved on sleep training and started sleeping in her room with her. She’s savvy though and will try and get us to wake up and play at all hours of the night. At those times, it’s helpful to know whether it’s 4:00am or 7:30am.

It really depends. Is it a full formal sleep or just a quick nap?

It’s a formal sleep so I need to look the part, what if I have to get up because I’ve gotta visit from the queen?

I also have a 2.5yr old and we are clinging to the last days of the crib before transitioning to the toddler bed

You are so right about knowing the time

To answer the OP I do not wear a watch to bed, but I might start now.

Each to their own. But it makes no sense to wear a watch to bed logically. It’s impossible for it to be more comfortable than not wearing one. As for needing to check the time, WHY?! I think those that sleep with their watches on are more obsessed than the rest of us and can’t bear to take it off

I always sleep with my watch on. The most comfortable - day and night - is the Explorer II (40 mm of course)

Google nest in the bedroom is the only thing that can tell time - when asked. See no point for watches in bed.

No watch for me. I keep my iPhone in charge near the bed, so when I wake up in the middle of the night I can still check what's the time.
