Expl 39mm Owners-Would U Buy a 41mm?
I love my 214270.
I’ve been thinking, if one was to be had, would I also desire a 41mm Explorer? Would you? Fin |

Definitely not.
Arguably, 39mm is already (a tad too) large, but still quite wearable. Anything beyond that will kill the esthetics. |

No, I have big wrist and the Explorer as it stands is the perfect size.

In a heartbeat. I am hoping they release the Explorer 1 in 41mm.

Nope. Though I would get an Exp2 in 41 if they made it. (Have the current 42. It works and loving it as well.)

I probably would. 7.5" wrist, and I am debating whether to get the current 39 or just wait, hoping it will be 40-41mm (maybe a white option as well).

39 explorer is perfect for my 7 inch wrist . I would only go to 41 if a watch had a dive or chronograph bezel, as the watch face itself appears smaller (not so for the smooth polished bezel of the explorer). Otherwise, watch face is too "pie plate" looking in my opinion. An example would be the Tudor Black Bay in 41; would love it in a 39.

I have worn both the 36 and the 39. ~7 inch wrist. Prefer the 36, although the 39 is very wearable.
Would not buy a 41 and think Rolex would ruin the line if they upsized the watch again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think its a bit of a trick, the 39mm Rolex's are the same size as the 41mm Rolex's.

I honestly think that would ruin the line, there's already a ton of great examples of 41mm Rolexes... I think it would be overkill and unnecessary

Nope, would have no interest for a 41 mm exp1.
I would definitely consider a 36mm update though! |

No, I had the Tudor Black Bay 41 with Blue Dial and loved the look of it, but it was too heavy and just didn’t look right. Explorer 39mm is just perfect proportionally and comfort wise for me. Really do think they will ruin it if they take it up to 41mm.

That's too much speculation. Who knows how big the next Explorer will be? Maybe it will stay the same and only change the movement to a 32XX

I'm fine with the current 39mm I have already. If I had a choice I would rather pick up a vintage 36mm over a new 41mm Explorer IF that were to happen.
