I get so nervous about doing any business from individuals online if it's a high dollar item (to me even a used rolex is high dollar).

I'm wondering if there's some type of protection in place on these classified ads for people looking to buy? I would even feel better if the sellers were to do a background check on a website like https://backgroundcheckrepair.org/ just so I can have more of a piece of mind knowing the person I'm doing business with is not a scammer or looking to take advantage of me.
