Officer down, North County PD Missouri
Police Officer Michael was shot and killed today after responding to a call at 6250 Page Avenue involving a man attempting to cash a fraudulent check at 4:40 pm.
He was shot several minutes after contacting the suspect at the business. The man who shot him was taken into custody. Officer Langsdorf had served with the North County Police Cooperative for only three months and had previously served with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for 17 years. He is survived by his two children, fiancée, and parents. Godspeed Sir, may you Rest In Peace.

Legislation should be made that officers upon contacting a 415family go into house in pairs and guns drawn. Just like high danger traffic stop. Hands up walk backwards toward me
Or have suspects exit house or business so officers don’t have to go into s blind area I don’t like any situation where an officer has to go in anywhere blind We need to change the rules! RIP
