70’s Rolex Chronograph/Calendar

Looking to see if anyone can tell me about the picture attached. It seems there is little info available through normal searches and I still haven’t even nailed down an accurate reference for this. Appreciate any good word.

I don’t know what that is, but I’m pretty sure it’s a real watch. ;)

Could it be a vintage model with a modern “remake”?
Certainly there is nothing vintage about the dial or hands. Hurts my eyes.

Huh. Did Rolex ever spell "Chronograph" with an E at the end?

It is a real watch.
Question is: Who made it.
