Is this Daytona movement real?

Hello everyone, I decided to open this case back because it was a watch with custom dial and bezel so I want to make sure that everything else is original, I tried to compare the movement with pictures that I found online but I am no expert and I need some help.

I tried my best to take good pictures

Thank you!

No expert, but you’ve got big balls buying a Daytona without getting macros of the movement prior to payment. I hope it’s legit.

Can’t wait to read the informed answers to this one!

I’ve no clue whether this is authentic or not but the engraving on the movement parts looks consistent and quality.

I’m not an expert, but from what I do know it looks legit.

Please share the dial side. You’ve got us curious

Would RSC restore an aftermarket watch?

If your willing to have them charge you for a "real" dial and insert and not get the old ones back. But I've also heard stories when they are "bad enough" and it gets returned.

Love to see the dial and bezel.

Yes it’s real

Have a clear case back on my 116523. See zero differences

Checking for just a free sprung balance is no longer a valid way to confirm a movement is authentic. The latest fake 4130/3235/3135’s will take a genuine balance assembly. There’s a ton of them doing the rounds currently. What the fake 4130’s lack is a serial number on the main plate.

OP your movement is real.

Omar I got it way back when I first got the 523, 2014.

My mistake you asked where. Google Thomas Priek. Custom watch concepts

Suspect.. The level of finish looks nowhere near a real Rolex.

Good photos of a 4130. https://millenarywatches.com/rolex-caliber-4130/
