Chrono24

I was wondering if buying a Tudor via Chrono 24 is a good way to go. Who has experience doing this? I have always bought through my AD but would like to get a watch only offered through the Tudor boutique. Since there is no boutique in the country I live, this seems to be the only choice I have....

ThX in advance for the advice

It isn’t your only choice. There are recommended sellers on this forum who may have or could source any Tudor you wish, and most probably for less than C24 with its 6-10% commissions.

Good luck

thanks for the links.....I choose chrono 24 because I need to use a dealer in Europe, The trusted sellers here on the site are mostly in the usa and thats makes for a slippery slope when sending watches to Europe,,,,,The import tax is really high where I live....

Personally, I bought my watch from C24 and I won't do it again. Pretty terrible customer service. They advertise that they accept credit card as payment, but when I did they cancelled the transaction anc told me I can only pay by wire transfer. When I called my CC, they said they authorised the transaction, it was cancelled on the other end (C24). I called C24 in NY, didn't get a call back.

I have buying a lot of watches at C24 in Europe without problems. I only buy with trusted checkout and then you are safe.
If the seller not accept trusted checkout, just move on to another one.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

Plenty good sellers in NL, risk and hassle free. Check out the Dutch forum banners and there are quite a few more good ones.

Seems like C24 pricing is often times considerably higher than going to a dealer directly. Many upcharging for a watch that they do not have but will get it if you commit to the purchase.

Yes that is bad so I start to ask if the watch is available right now after I have paid for watches several times and got my money back after 2 months when they can't delivery.

I have mailed C24 about it so I know they talk about only allow seller advertise watches they have i stock. Or be very clear with they have to order it.

If it’s a new model I’d try eBay, I can see eyeballs rolling. They have a watch originality program, I’m aware people have had issues with vintage and parts being swapped out but for a new watch in Europe I think you’ll be safe.

New, likely OK.
Used, I would be careful. I had a BAD experience with crap service and a bad attitude from them on a used watch. Never again.
