Congratulations to you and your wife! That's quite a nice VC and a great way for your wife to learn what a chronograph is and how to use it. I really like the strap too. The Cornes de Vache has to be one of the most beautiful watches out there. I like the looks of the rose gold version best but one can't go wrong with the stealth and heft of the platinum version or the practicality of the steel version.

Here's a breakdown of the movement, partially disassembled, which gives one an idea about the movement's finishing:

By the way, the platinum version was discontinued and out of production over two years ago, so the person interested will have to go grey or preowned.

Thanks and I would agree that it is a very classy chrono.

It also scratched my caliber 321 itch too.
