This watch is growing on me more and more. I’m wearing my BP Aqualung grande date right now and wishing it had a rotating bezel.

Do you guys think they'll come out with another limited edition 40mm FF this year? I've been waiting for a regular production one but it looks like they're never gonna do it.

Likely in 2023, they release the 40mm limited editions every other year. Milspec 2017, Baraka 2019, no rads 2021. I don't count the BOCiii and Hodinkee versions.

Here’s to hoping they break form and do a standard 40mm no date. I know what they said but I can hope.

Where did everyone go?!

…A little late to the party, but this one just arrived today :)

40mm Blancpain is a grail watch for me.

I love the simplicity, brushed case and no-date.

I have the sail cloth strap on order already.

The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Milspec is a historically significant and fascinating dive watch, but not the Hodinkee version.

Are you saying that because Hodinkee appears on the rotor it makes it a lesser watch?

Does the nato strap buckle work with the sail cloth?

It does not. The sailcloth tapers.

Of course not, I just don't like the no-date Hodinkee version.
