Favorite Lange 1?
I typically prefer rose gold as far as precious metals go but for the Lange 1 I much prefer the white gold variations (specifically with the blue dial).

There is also the platinum option but I find that quite plain.

Does anyone else have a preference in that line?

The blue dial version is gorgeous, but unfortunately no longer available. Of the models still in production, my favorite is the perpetual calendar in WG with pink gold dial: https://www.alange-soehne.com/en/tim...alendar-345056

A few years ago I tried on the Lange 1 WG blue and silver dials and chose the silver (argente)- was a cleaner , crisper and easier to read dial for me . Last month I added a rose gold / argente dial 1815 chrono and I think they make a good pair. Good luck w your choice!

One of my favorite variations is the Lange 1 Moon-phase. I love how it is a day/night indicator along with a very classy complication. My preference is the black dial in WG. Just absolutely stunning!

For the standard Lange 1. Rose Gold. 191.032. It has a warmth to it. On upper levels, Honey Gold varietals.

I owned the standard RG (101.032), recently sold it to make way for something else (and because I’m just not a colored metal guy). Lange 1s are pretty much the perfect watch to me, I definitely will get another Lange 1 in the future; the below are my favorites (excluding ultra-rare unobtanium models).

101.027 (white gold, blue dial)
101.030 (white gold, dark grey dial)
101.029 (luminous)

My favorite as well, got married in that one, really a cherished piece for me.

The L1 (and the Grand L1 which I prefer the proportions of), really lends itself to WG with black. Only in the moon phase variations and in the Timezone, I prefer the rose gold.

The 101049 Cellini for me. It’s the only truly white dial Lange 1. Of the main production references I like the RG
