15450BA radiance

it's been gorgeous weather in nyc, and the sun is appropriately gleaming on the 450 today...

I am seriously contemplating this piece. Would be all over if it was rose gold which is my preference. Love that dial!

i tried on a rose gold variant of the 450 at the boutique when i first started on this hunt. it's absolutely gorgeous and beautiful, and i thought it was going to be the one.

then i put on the yellow gold version.
it wasn't even a debate at that point.. the yellow's presence is, imho, hands down far greater.
that being said, i think the rose is always meant to have a more muted, reserved presence. and if that's what ur looking for, rose is absolutely the right choice.

Great and valid points. I think muted nature of RG was one of the reasons. Now I'm thinking if I'm going to go gold might as well have the most presence.

I've definitely been bit by the gold bug, as this is the 5th PM model I've acquired over time.
and having owned a YG 36mm prez, i think the size also allows a full bracelet yellow gold to stand out NOT so ostentatiously. unlike, say, a 42mm ROO 'brick', this RO in 37mm, although full yellow bracelet, it retains amazing/confident presence without having to scream out 'look at me!', imo.... just like the 36mm prez.

i also think there is/has been a resurgence of yellow gold models, and the comfort of owners wearing them rather casually has become widespread.

my $0.02.

My apologies for reviving an old thread, but your 15450BA is stunning. I am looking for a 15451BA myself. Great pics btw.
