How did most of you find your D-blue’s? AD, or trusted seller? I’ve only seen one at an AD (south coast plaza) once.

Getting on a list at your AD is the best way. I was on the list at a few AD's I know, and was fortunate that one called me when the first person on their list backed out.

I thought I peeled them all off, but after wearing this thing 24/7 for 10 months straight, I found ANOTHER sticker.

My AD in the lower 48 has advised me my 126660 is in.

At the website Minus 4 Plus 6, the reviewer advises, “For daily wear, be sure to remove the dive extension link. Unless the DeepSea is going on a 7mm dive suit, the extension link is not needed and the bracelet is more comfortable without it.” https://www.minus4plus6.com/deepsea.php

Should I advise the AD to do this for me before shipping it to me, or is this easily done by the wearer? Here in Alaska I have been underwhelmed by the one AD in the State. Thanks!

Picture is from the internet.

if you have the proper screwdriver, it is very easy. if you don't, you could easily scratch it.
it is just a matter of taking an extra link out when you are sizing it.
took me 2 minutes. i have the proper screwdriver

When I first bought and put on my DSSD, I feel over from the weight, not the price. My hand went numb for a week and then I had to get carpal tunnel surgery (Just kidding). It's a TANK, and I love it, BUT can't find a shirt maker that has extra large FRENCH CUFFS. So I must wear it a short sleeve shirt. Oh well.....I love it.

I was recommended by my AD to remove the diver link for better comfort and i followed his advice. Watch is pretty comfortable without the link on. Just make sure the clasp is fitted to be in the middle of the bottom of your wrist as the watch may move around alot more due to its weight if it isnt.

Count me in as well. I've got DSSD and BLNR one after another within one month. Love them both. I wear BLNR in the office during the weekdays and DSSD from Friday over the weekend.
BTW: I have 6.5 inches wrist size. Haven't remove wet suit extension clasp and have no intention due to my passion for diving.

Not only got on my AD’s list, but put down a deposit. He said he had had been one of the first to order at Basel but said it could be some time as they had not received the first 126660 Blue yet. So I thought okay, October or November is okay, certainly by the end of the year.

I was just notified it was in, in within two weeks. Sending a certified check tomorrow from Alaska, hopefully they send the watch Friday, and we’ll see it Monday or Tuesday. I’ve bought from these guys before.

So my local AD wants a fully refundable 50% cash deposit to source a Cameron DeepSea that I should get within 6 months. Is this reasonable? Not sure what status quo on authorized retailer gets of this model is right now.

I was on the waiting list but I didn't have to put 50% down, so it really depends on your AD. Personally, I wouldn't do it.
