Recent 15300 Acquisition & Service

Hello TRF!

Completed a purchase last week from an excellent TRF member for a close to new old stock black dial 15300 G (2012). Went to the AP boutique on 6/23 to get it sized and noticed afterwards the watch was gaining quite a bit of time within a 24 hour period. Anticipated having the watch serviced when I purchased it so factored this into the cost.

Dropped the watch back off yesterday (6/25) and received a quote of a full service at a cost of $980 (incl tax). Overall was surprised at how reasonable the quote was and can't wait to get the watch back. I believe a polish would have brought the price up an additional $300 or so but there is not a scratch on it.

Lead time is 4-6 weeks and will post pics when I get it back. Overall excellent service so far from AP!

That’s too bad that the watch needed service right away as I hoped you could enjoy the summer with that awesome watch. I’ve heard only good things about ap’s service so I bet you’ll get it back in a reasonable time frame. For now let’s see a picture of that 15300! Thanks again for the smooth deal bud

That’s quick 4-6 weeks. I was told 6-8 but hopefully it will be quicker!

Congrats on the acquisition!

Bet you cannot wait to have it back, but the wait will only make it better !
