If you can find Tamdhu batch strength, give it a shot.

It's become my #1 contender replacement for the Macallan CS...

While the CS feels like a much older vintage, the Tamdhu is like the slightly younger sister... same genes, same smell, same taste, a tiny bit more youthful.

Thanks for the recommendation, will look for it.

I do have a couple more bottles of the CS but am rationing it now. I also like the Glenfarclas 105.

I have been exploring the bourbon world lately buying $30-40 bottles here and there. Bulleit has been my daily drinker since I started drinking bourbon about 2 years ago.

I must say the Breckinridge is my favorite!! Followed by town range then russells!

Breckinridge is awesome, try the port cask finish variant. One of my favorites.

Check if they will ship to your state:

https://www.binnys.com/breckenridge-...sh-944964.html

I get it locally without any problems but you may be able to get it delivered if you cannot find it where you are.

Picked up 2 bottles of Rip Van Winkle 10 year at the local 7-11/liquor store. Not kidding. It didn't come cheap.

The hard liquor section has been there for a few years, never paid any attention to it until today. The whiskey selection was unbelievable.

Good score-

My local package store has one for sale $999-I have not engaged the owner in negotiations to see if he has any room on the price.

I would think so. They trade for around 400-425 shipped secondary.

Finished half a bottle of 15 over a two week span at a bar. A guy at another tasting bar bought me a pour of the 20 yr and I was floored. 20 yr edges out the 15, very slightly. Still have yet to try the 23.
