I'm in the minority here, but I like the white dial with smooth bezel/oyster bracelet combo. My second choice would be the blue dial with fluted/jubilee.

I got myself a DJ41 with Silver dial.
I always like how the DJ36 with silver dial look. As i had a explorer 1 and Sub date both in black dial, my DJ definitely going to have a light color dial. If the DJ41 is my only Rolex I will get the black dial as I prefer black since it's more classic and easier to read.
I think Blue is good and more popular for the younger crowd. I dont really like the Rhodium.
I think the DJ with Silver dial is the one that will age well with the owner.

I used to think like everyone:
-Fluted bezel and jubilee.

But after trying a few DJ41 combos I prefer fluted bezel and oyster for this one. Less bling.

However, I did like smooth bezel and jubilee bracelet. It balances well imo.

Dials: blue looks amazing but not always. It is light dependant as others said. I guess black or rhodium would be my choice.
I am in the market for a DJ41 but I didn’t make my mind up yet.

It would be my only Rolex for a while and I am trying to get the best combo for an only watch. I tend to think this would be fluted bezel and oyster bracelet.

I initially fell in love with the Wimbledon dial ( slate with Green Romans ) but when seeing the Slate and the Rhodium dials side by side in person, I chose the Rhodium. Found it to be more legible on all angles.

Being a younger person I like Black, Smooth Bezel, Oyster band. Although the silver is calling because im afraid i'll have too many sport watches with black dials already..

White Dial smooth bezel. Love how the white is crisp and you can wear with anything. I disagree white is a summer only watch.

I walked into my ad with intentions of getting the rhodium dial on oyster walked out with the blue on jubilee.
