Walked into an AD and found ....

Went to a Track and Field meeting with my son, went to a mall afterwards to grab something to eat.Walked past a AD and went in at 14h30 ...asked about stock.

Had a Sub/Date C but a client was coming in to have a look at it at 3pm .OK,told them I will grab it if the client does not take it .I was back at 15h08 and the client didn't pitch and couldn't be reached by phone ..the watch is mine !!

Whooahhh !!!

Have been collecting for 18 years and have never owned a ss Sub.

Did EFT and will post pics when I collect it after funds transferred.

Luck favours the brave and miracles still do happen in Rolex world.

Did you want a Sub-C or is it FOMO?

If you have been collecting for 18years,you don't buy what you don't like.

2001 bought a coke gmt because I could find a sub
After that bought many others, but weird Sub/Dates have always been hard to find in my part of the woods.
Also, for 10 years weren't looking for one, ventured into other brands and other model Rolexes.
For the last year have been looking for one,but then a SD43 and BLNR pitched up....
Now,found one and are very pleased !!

Saw white, black and silver dialed DJ41s with smooth bezels today.Jubilee and oyster bracelets.Always not to my liking in pics, prefer the fluted wg bezel, but I must say pretty damn nice in the metal !!

Congratulations!

Sometimes you have to jump when others dawdle. As they say up North - shy kids get no sweets! Great grab!

You will not regret it, an absolute classic.

Show us some pictures!
I wish my AD had SS submariners in stock! Would make the buying process a lot more enjoyable.

Congrats! The "find" is almost as exciting as the watch. The fact you got it at an AD and did not pay above MSRP is the icing.

Current market conditions made the find quite unexpected.
