New Watch incoming (and it isn't a SS)
Thought I share an wrist shot of my latest purchase: a vintage 1601 TT from 1966. Sourced from my go to guys tempo and time in London. Love dealing with Jonathan there and he got a really good deal on this one. Have no problem in recommending these guys to anyone.
In the days of hyped up modern Rolexes and their silly inflated prices, I got this for a relative bargain. The 36mm is a perfect size for my 6.1" wrist. It also came on a brand new Rolex Leather strap which is a bonus. Included also a glamour shot lol.

Love the look of the brown leather strap and gold flutes, so understated but so classy. Fits your risk perfectly imo.
Well done for going with your heart and not following the crowd. Congratulations my fellow TRF friend; every day that you wear this beauty will be a slightly better day. Importantly this imo is what independant (Grey) dealers are all about, finding gems like these, and not hoofing up the prices of the unobtainable.. |

Great piece. What year is it? ‘74?
I like the fluting better on the old DJs, much less sharp/deep and not too sparkly. Did they chunk up the new ones? Or are the old ones just nicely aged? |

Congrats. I'm currently vacationing in LA and visited a couple of vintage shops on Wednesday. There's some cool stuff out there, I might grab something similar in the future.
