GMTs are popular. Which GMT do you have your eye on?

The classic GMT IIs are very popular - much more than the ceramic "block" models.

As with everything, it is personal taste that drives buyers to select which model they prefer. For me, I'll take the classic GMT II 16710s every time.

I was a late bloomer myself on them, I say a nice clean 16710 with B&P’s & you are set.

I dunno, the new Pepsi is selling like crazy. While I agree with you that the 5 digit gmts are preferable (if only because of the ease of swapping bezels) the awe factor of the new models can't be understated.

love it!!!! guess that's why i have two 6 digits and 5 digit ref gmt's and a explorer II. just need to add a 4 digit gmt now. great piece.

If you can swing it, get a 5 digit first. U get the versatility of all three bezel inserts. plenty of ceramic gmts you can add one later

Go with the 5 digit GMT Master; you won’t be disappointed.

I like mine, and is more useful in my day to day than my sub or daytona.

So differing opinions aren’t welcome here? What is this, Reddit? Shocker.

Apologies then, really. But “no name calling pls” would have been better than “find another place”. Not that I’m offended though - it’s your opinion. Isn’t it what this place is about?

If you like the "Sport" watch look, then I think you will be happy with a GMT. Compared to other Sport watch references, I think you get the most bang for your buck in functionality.
I have an '02 Pepsi, and a '16 BLNR.
Functionally the same, but different watches completely. I like both equally as the New reference has some nice upgrades that the older reference needed.

The BLNR wears differently than the older reference. Nothing negative, just different, due to the case size, bracelet and crown. Either is a winner!
