How is a 6262 value effected by screw down pushers?

Hi,

How much is a 6262 effected by the following:

1. Rolex installed screw down pushers at owner’s request: the big question is how much does it effect value and how much would it cost to put back to original

3. Correct but service replaced steel bezel?

Thanks.

This is actually not completely uncommon, I’ve seen this a few times in the past. A NOS set of pump pushers generally go for about 1k. The bigger problem is they usually open up the pusher recesses in the case so the larger caps of the screw down pushers fully seat when depressed. Fortunately this can be repaired, just takes the right approach and quite a bit more work.

I was told there are mk1 (shorter) and mk2 (longer) pump pushers. Which is the right one for the 6262?

Where do you get the correct pushers?

What’s involved in filling in the case so the pump pushers will fit properly?
