Tudor GMT without the rivets!

I bought a Tudor GMT when they first were announced and got one on a nato. I always loved NATO’s and wasn’t that bothered about the bracelet as the fake rivets definitely turned me off a bit.

After a while with the nato I decided to change things up so found a used heritage BB steel bracelet. Just the oyster style rather than the rivet one. I think it looks brilliant and much nicer.

What do you think? Total price paid works out the same price as a GMT on the steel would have cost originally but now I have both the nato and the steel!

I agree, much nicer than the faux-vintage fake riveted bracelet. Could you post a picture of the clasp, please?

I actually prefer rivets. Makes it different.

The clasp is the same. I have no idea if the non rivet is slimmer than the rivet but it visually looks that way. Anyone confirm.

Thanks for the picture Looks the same, I do not like the V-shape of the clasp.
I also don't get why the Pelagos gets a solid milled clasp (true, in titanium) while the Black Bay line gets a stamped clasp. I am afraid that in their perverse mind Tudor believe it is more in keeping with the faux-vintage look of the Black Bay.

I definitely like the look, but I do truly love the rivet bracelet.

Looks great.

Although TBH, rivets/no rivets is pretty much a toss up for me. And, IMO of course, the best look and feel for this watch is on leather. My two cents.

Looks great on the standard bracelet. I have both the riveted bracelet and the standard and I like both. I do on occasion put one on a watch that came with the other for a change up. I have never had anyone say anything either positive or negative. Great watch.

All of the 40mm black bay bracelets are interchangeable you can put rivet on the non rivet
and even 2 tone as I did with my BBR

The GMT looks superb on the non rivet
and I love the BBR on the riveted 2 tone

Much much better. Must agree when I saw the rivets on the latest model it was a bit of a cold shower for me. Much better without imho.

I think it looks great with or without rivets. You're happy and that's all that matters. Wear it in good health!!

Cool that they are all interchangeable so owners can try different things. Similar to vintage Rolex.

I own NATOs and cloth straps and have worn them in the past. I've been with the oyster bracelet on my Tudor Submariner for a few years and love it.

Rivets or not, I just like the bracelet for now.

Looks awesome. My wife just got me a Black Bay for our 1 year anniversary. Has the leather strap which I love. Don't like the rivets on the bracelet and would love to get one of these.

Anyone know a good source for a used Black Bay bracelet? I'm considering doing the same thing for my GMT on leather, but depends on the cost.
