Newbie in NJ seeks repairman in NJ, NY or PA (US)

Hi, I'm new to the forum and could use a little assistance.

I'm wearing an Oyster Datejust that I got from my dad. The watch is perhaps 20 years old, maybe a little more. I don't believe it's ever been serviced and, until a couple of days ago, it worked great.

Unfortunately I dropped it and the stem broke. I don't believe there's anything else wrong with it.

I recognize that repairing a Rolex is not inexpensive and I know the adage "you get what you pay for" has merit. But I also that some repairpeople are more skilled than others as well as more or less expensive.

So, I'm seeking referrals for a repair person/shop. I can go south to Philly, PA, west to Allentown, PA, or east to NYC.

Thanks in advance

First, welcome aboard. This is a great forum and the people are terrific here.

And a great watch repairman is Mark Sirianni from Kane, PA. Really great guy, honestly, fair, quick turn around and knows what he is doing. I trust him with all of my watches.

I've sent a few Rolex and also an Omega Speedmaster Pro to Shami Fine Watchmaking here in New Jersey and have been very happy with them. http://www.shamifinewatchmaking.com
