Full gold Patek discount?

In an AD I have some relationship with they have a 5396 with full white gold bracelet that I am interested in. How much discount it's reasonable for such a piece? I know that had been sitting in the display for more than a year at least.

Worth a shot trying to bundle with something else in lieu of a cash discount (if you are in the market). You’d probably have to pay MSRP of course.

Wishful thinking as I’m next up for a 5711r.

I was offered a 5711r for 49 from ad exactly two years ago but was looking for stainless steal. Now no discount and incredibly hard to find at msrp.

Yeah. But they’re not expecting to get one in stock until sometime in 2020. So we wait.

I'm not looking for a sports model so I hope there's some room. Anyway I'll talk to them and let see how it goes.

5396 on bracelet there damn well better be some room. Like others mentioned I’d hold for 25% but keep in mind a grey can possibly get you one for even less.

Considering it sat for a year 25% would be a starting point and 30% would be about right. Any less discount than that you can just go to Europe for free and buy it with VAT plus discount.
