Go back to page one and start reading. You'll be finished in a few days. Happy New Year.

Great idea to refresh this thread monthly!!!

Awesome, Steve! Are you in training for an upcoming expedition, or just out for a stroll?

Hey! No, just had two days hill walking. Try and get out at least once a month. Not sure when the next trip for me is

I remember you once saying your favorite is the polar 16570.

Is that still the case?

I am very late to this thread, but I read it over the past two days, from the beginning. Steve, as many before me have said, this is an epic thread. Thanks for sharing your journey, your stories, your wisdom, and the history of your watches. Best regards and Happy New Year. --- Stephen

Wowwww. I'm reading this thread late in the game, and was wondering, do you think it has a chance of making to the big screen!? It had everything! Action, drama, deceit, and adventure all wrapped into one thread. Thanks Hilo for the bump! Thanks for the adventure Steve, and great collection...Happy Holidays to you and your family.

I love rereading one of the best threads on TRF every time it gets bumped. Like rewatching Forrest Gump every time it's on TV. Have a happy new year Steve!

Happy New Year Steve!

Wow....happen to read this thread from the start to the latest page today and I have to agree that this is by far the BEST thread ever on TRF!

It has everything: life experience, history of the watches, and the reason why those watches were worn. The family photos (yes, there were a couple of them in the middle of the thread) were simply astounding!

I hope you continue the profiles of the remaing watches (i think you stopped at no 4 or 5)!

My Rolex favourite is probably the GMT master I think, due to it going to the South Pole!
