The new Air King- Yay or Nay.
I really don't know what rolex was thinking when they designed the new Air King. Mixing like that is just terrible. The dial looks so busy. Lets hear from everybody.

Well, glad to see the AK back, but can't say I'm a fan. I always likes the simplicity of the AK where as the current iteration just looks too busy for me. Too many Arabic numerals.

I always figured that they would bring the Air King back, it is just too much of a Rolex icon.
As to the new release, I love it.. Busy, hardly - anybody looked at a Breitling lately.. For a pilot, a quick look at seconds in large numbers can be a plus when timing turns etc. It may not be done much any more, but it is definitely a throwback to early pilots needs.. It's one I want to take a better look at, and I said that I was done picking up new watches !!!

I'm glad to see the AK back, but the dial drives me crazy.

It's a cool piece. The Rolex green is such a solid statement.

The 3-6-9 Dial looks out of place and confusing.

I like it. And the larger size tells me a lot about the future. Traditionalists will hate it.

I'm a fan , the green second hand is a free mod in my eyes, just like a date wheel change that people do on other models .
I like the fact it also has the same movement and case as the milgaus. |

As a pilot's watch, this AK is more what one would expect than previous incarnations. While not my bag, I think it's a fine bearer of the name.

I like it a lot! But if someone is just going to own one Rolex, I'm guessing they'll go for something more conservative.

I guess they needed to do something to differentiate it from the Explorer 1, but I don't care for the differences.

I like the way the AK is distinguishing its self. I think it's bold, and I like the direction they are going with it, however, I'd also like to see a simplier design mixed in with with the bunch.

People pay money to have a date wheel changed a different colour.
Having a green seconds hand already negates that .Was just an observation ,you don't usually see coloured second hands or coloured date wheels unless on an original model . |

No interest whatsoever. And I really liked the 5500.

I like the colors, size is perfect, but those numbers are a deal breaker for me.

The dial is really confusing. The color scheme is kind of cheap looking.
