First Rolex Incoming...
Actually a double incoming (sort of). Had my eye on the SD43 for some time now and finally decided to pull the trigger a while back. Based on lack of availability and unsure if it would fit my 6.7" wrists, I convinced my wife that I get an interim watch to hold me over. A few weeks back I found a Tudor Black Bay Rose in Black which was beautiful in person. I promptly picked that up and continued my search for the SD.
Fast forward a few weeks and I stopped into an AD on my way back from a client meeting in NJ and asked to be put on a list. To my surprise I got a call two days later. She said it was my lucky day and she just got one in would hold it for me. Safe to say, I went there as fast as I could and loved everything about the watch. Size wise, it is the upper limit of what I could pull off but it feels very comfortable. Looking forward to enjoying it as a daily wearer. Now I have to convince the wife to let me keep the Black Bay :) Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk |

Congratulations on your new SD43! Looks like it fits your wrist very nicely. If you can swing it, you might want to hang on to your black BB ETA/rose as those have been rising keenly in price due to limited production (might be a way to justify keeping it to your wife). Wear them both in good health. Cheers!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I now understand what the SD43 hype is all about. Still can't believe I was able to snag one and find myself staring at it all day!
