Omega Seamaster 120m Model 2411.20 White-face

This is the first quality watch I ever owned. I bought about 15-20 years ago
I bought it BNIB from Ross-Simons for about $1,200-$1,500 ( If I remember correctly) and I still have the grey leather box with a nice white pillow and the white outside box with papers and a Grey leather credit card holder for the plastic warranty card.

I just sent in in for a full refurbishment as you can see from the photos it needs a little face lift :). It has always run perfect and has always mainatined very accurate time. I have probably worn it 95% of every day during that timeframe. It has truly been a Dress/casual "tool" for me.

My plan is to use this watch as my "dress watch" and add either a new GMT ll or a EXP II (white face) as my very day watch. I hope Rolex can match the durability and quality Omega put in this watch !!!

My photos aren't the best but I will take quality photos of the "new" reburbished watch when I get it back (I've been told by Tech Time about 6 weeks)

I would welcome any comments regarding the watch !!!

What happened to the crown? I looks like wear as opposed to a sudden impact. Nice watch btw.

Pure wear.
Obviously Omega uses a gold cap on its crown.
Also you will notice the numbers insert ( not sure of the proper term) is not aligned correctly.... this is a product of a poor reassembly by a watchmaker 5 years ago when I had it cleaned.

What grade of gold is that, 18k or higher? It must be pretty high to wear like that. I didn't catch the number insert before but that is way off. I hope you have found a different watchmaker.

But for 15-20 years it looks like it held up pretty well. Looking forward to seeing the "after" pics.

Welcome Bayhillrolex to TRF. Still a great looking watch after 15 to 20 years of wear!

I like that clasp that you have.

Looking forward to seeing the AFTER photos.
