I think the green is difficult to read. I actually like the white dial for legibility. I know that's not what you asked, but I think it's the nicest one.

From those two, I prefer olive dial. However, I would personally choose yellow gold with champagne dial. Its iconic and you can most likely get it directly from AD with minimal wait. Or from gray with minimal premium.

I know there are some restrictions on dials (like the green anniversary dial on the YG Daytona) but not on this one at least until recently.

Makes sense I wish I could get an olive dial from an AD at retail price!

Then 28K then more internet talk, vlogs, blogs and now we are at a low price in the US $55K and see a high ask $62K in the US. What made the watch so desirable. Wanting something that everyone can't get. The watch is nice as it is in either dial. Since asked what dial color we liked, I would put green over Brown, and I also like the Sundust dial.
Thanks for the feedback my question was more so based around which one you would get that makes more sense from a financial perspective given the current prices on the grey market of both.

Did you order the chocolate baguette or the regular chocolate? If it's the baguette what was the price at the AD? Something like $43-44k?

The AD that I went to yesterday had yellow gold with champagne dial right in the showcase. It was 1 of only 3 watches they had in the store. I just personally don't like that combination but I agree that it's a more classic look!

Even at the current prices of $55-60k on the secondary market? You don't fear the mark up on the olive is already at a peak premium? Thanks for the feedback!

I personally think it’ll go higher once it’s eventually discontinued. Unfortunately, I don’t believe the $60k to be the peak.

Thanks for the feedback I guess I'll just see which one of the two I can get the better deal on since I like them both and the opinions here in this thread seem to be equally mixed. A local grey market dealer has both of them in stock and offered me either one for $55k. I think that's a pretty good deal on the olive dial given the current pricing but I feel it's a little high on the chocolate baguette.

You'd choose the olive dial even at the $55-60k grey market prices? I see you're in Tampa I'm in South Florida have you had any luck with AD's up there getting any inventory?

Go chocolate w/diamonds. The colors compliment each other so well. Olive is cool but not practical, especially if its going to be your only DD. Its just a novelty piece. Doesn’t matter if the Olive price is inflated unless you’re going to sell it as soon as you get it. Think in terms as to which piece you’re going to enjoy wearing daily.

I'd call the same ADs back and ask them each, if I put x% down today, do you feel confident you can get me this watch within a year? If any of them seem pretty convinced/convincing then go that route. Getting it at the AD there is no fear about either model, just get the one you like the most independent of any hype or inflated pricing. Being on "a list" at the AD may be next to worthless, but if they have your money and you have a real order pending I definitely think the patience will pay off.

Very good input thanks I'll call the AD's and ask tomorrow. If I can get a real order placed at retail then I agree that would be worth the wait.
