New Eisenkiesel Day Date is Fire!
I looked through a bunch of threads and I am quite surprised that this one isn’t being discussed at all, unless I missed it. I think this is absolutely stunning. Currently out of my league, but wow, something of a grail to me and quite unique!

Would be awesome if no diamonds,,,they need exotic dials but without diamonds like the old days.

As with all DDs, it’s a very personal decision and never a bad one in the bunch. I’d personally much prefer a lighter brighter pastel dial for such a serious watch or even a black onyx or blue lapis or even red carnelian. Similar to the older 70s 80s styles.

Agreed.

Had to Google that, but yup! Definitely see the similarity there. Quote:

Absolutely. Agreed. It's up there, but I think it's in line with the rest of the Day Date lineup. Agreed. This one just looks amazing to me. There are a lot of good and great combos in the Day Date lineup. This is one of many. A lighter dial or black onyx or blue would surely look amazing as well. Would love to see something in red as well. I just seem to have a thing for chocolate-y watches! They feel and look so warm. |

I love it. I do agree that it would be preferable with numerals to the baguettes.

Yes, this one looks gorgeous but the price seems high.
Now, I don't know which one I should get between RG Olive dial and this one.

I actually had a thread on it on release day but got lost in the hundreds of threads going on that day.
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=797776 I love it personally. Wish they would sell it with standard markers instead of diamonds, but it does look great. |

I think it looks incredible! Personally, I’d pair it with the diamond bezel to match the dial.
I should be happy with my DD40 olive, but this is very tempting. Not sure if I need another. |

That’s a very factual point actually. This name would not have been chosen by Hans Wilsdorf himself. Too hard to pronounce in English. Is pronounced differently through most European languages.
I bet it’s gorgeous in person though.

I’d need to see this one in person before I’d form an opinion. It doesn’t say...wow, gorgeous, etc.....from my first impression.

Prefer Choco dial baguettes if we’re talking RG.
This one looks like lava cake.
