Icon3 Real sizing of the 39mm AP RO Chrono vs Rolex

Hi I'm looking at a couple of older model 39mm RO chronos. My wrist is 7in I'm worry they would wear small. I'm wondering how they wear compared to say 40/41mm Rolex sports models. Anybody have side by side pictures? Thanks in advance .

Here is a photo of 38mm=> 40mm=> 41mm Chrono. AP RO wear bigger than Rolex. If possible, I suggest you try it on if this is your first AP RO. In general, if you have 7inch wrist 39 mm, should be perfect!

Thanks for the photos. I've tried the 37mm "lady's" version at boutique. It feels really small. I don't see anything I like that's obtainable entry ones in APs currently line up. So I gotta buy grey. The 39mm really caught my eye but I have not yet seen one or tried one in person.

My wrist is a little over 7". For my taste and my wrist, I find the 37mm RO and 38mm ROC too small, but the 39mm Jumbo just fine. The inner and outer bezel diameter of the 39mm ROC (26300) are basically identical to the Jumbo, so I assume (haven't tried one) that the 39mm ROC will wear like a Jumbo or a little bigger, and therefore be just fine.

The 41mm fits good for me, I have no chance of getting a 41mm RO Chrono as my first purchase. I've been offered ROOs I don't like which I turned down. Now my SA had basically ghosted me.

How you like the 39mm size RO compared to your 41mm for your wrist?

On my 6.75-inch 39mm jumbo fits perfectly and my favorite AP collection. I personally think 39mm will be perfect and as you know 39mm collections are limited.

Sorry to hear of SA ghosting you have you tried to build relationships BH or Costa Mesa (based on your location)?

Thank you for the photo. I think 39mm will be ok for me as well. My SA is from the south coast plaza boutique. Im not local to him. I really hit it off with him one time I stay and talked for 2 hours. He offered me couple ROOs but non from my list. To be honest I would've bought a green diver. But it was never offered. I hit him up once or twice after came back to home With no reply.

With 7” wrist, I think you should be able to wear from 38 mm to 41 mm and looks perfect.

I have 6.6” wrist, I wear 36 mm to 41 mm AP but I think 38-39 mm would be the best fit for me.

I bought the old model of 39 mm ROC and love it very much.

Jumbo vs 15500 on the same ~7" wrist:

Both fine, IMO, while 38mm/37mm are too small for my taste (not just b/c of the dial size, but also b/c of the smaller lug-to-lug and narrower/more tapered bracelet). 39mm ROC should be fine.

This is the series of AP 39mm I was looking at. How does size for this one compared to your Rolex chnr ?

Both of them have similar fit but for your 7" wrist, I would think you can wear up to 43 mm.
