44 updates in SIHH 19

What are the chances of new 44’s in SIHH 19?

Maybe some new SS variants... they released gold and ceramic updates, two new platinums, and if we don't count very niche camo strap / green bezel SS, beside little dial color change of the original they didn't really update the SS from the first release..

As above maybe a dial colour tweak or an SS offering as that would be all materials covered as can’t see us seeing a FC again!

Isn't there supposed to be an in-house integrated chrono movement in the works? It's long overdue.

My understanding is that they are pulling out after 2019.

I do miss a full CE ROO but still cannot get over the fact that they use a modular chrono. It’s like having a top end car with a subpar engine.

I’ve always wondered, do the tourbillon concept watches have also modular chrono? That would be a disaster.

Few things to consider...

The 3126/3840 is technically an in-house movement with a chrono module where as the 2385 isn’t so seems realistic the 2385 will be replaced first unless they drop both in favour of this new movement! Issue there thought is the two different dial layouts!

New chrono is rumoured to be a 3,6,9 layout so follows my thoughts above.

Also AP are due to announce to new JA line most likely this coming SIHH and it has been suggested this new watch might debut the new chrono movement.

Maybe a new SS 44 as they haven't update that for a while.

I do think about getting that strap on my RG 44. Have to see one in person first, but it might work.

Don't think there will be any new 44s after the last couple of years, more likely focus is on the new JA and maybe CE or other material 42s.

As some have stated AP is attending SIHH 2019 and that will be the last time at least for now. Also, the new movement in the two interview I’ve seen Francois-Henry mention it in was for a “new model”. So I’m assuming not a revamped JA or ROO or RO model.

Tx

From what I’ve been told he is referring the the JA line as it’s a complete redesign!

Copy that. I guess I’m okay with that. I wanted to hold off to see what this new model was! But if it’s confirmed that no new RO or ROO movement is expected than I can decide on a ROO model.

Nothings 100% confirmed as it’s all talk and speculation but I’ll be shocked if we see the ROO line house a new movement next year, 2020 maybe but not 2019.
Well that’s my opinion
